Sometimes during upgrades or when we change environments, the settings applied to the dispatch panel become “corrupted” or they can cause the application to misbehave. There are a few ways to clear these stored settings.

## What will be affected?

Clearing stored settings affects:

- Any settings stored in the user settings menu in the top-right
- Active filters and displayed date
- Order, size and filters for columns in the bottom section tables
- Any selections such as listings

## How do I clear these settings?

There are a couple of ways to clear stored settings both within the app and within your browser.

### Clearing settings from the Dispatch Panel

With the Dispatch Panel open, click on the Miscellaneous dropdown in the top-right corner (three dots) and select the option **Clear settings and reload**.

### Clearing settings from a Dispatch Panel error screen

If an unexpected error occurs while using the Dispatch Panel, sometimes it might help to clear stored settings before reloading the app. To do this press the **Reset local storage and reload** button.

### Clearing the settings from the browser

If the Dispatch Panel is inaccessible, you can also clear stored settings in the browser directly. To do this, follow the guide here: [https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/2392709](https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/2392709)
