Additionally, browsing and selecting images is easier thanks to the new image picker. An illustrated user guide with the changes will be made available soon. Check the video below to see a quick recap of how updated attachments look like! # 🗓 Improvements ## Improved Attachments UI In the latest version of the FieldBuddy Swift, the attachment features are re-designed in order provide more performant and consistent way to show files related to the work orders, installed products, and checklists. | ![List of Attachments]() | ![Preview of an Attachment]() | | --- | --- | When viewing attachments, you now see thumbnail versions of images load quickly, with the original high-resolution image downloaded only when you view it. Thanks to this change, the attachments in the list load noticeably faster, while the transition to the high-resolution image may display a loading indicator. A new setting, `useInefficientFullImageThumbnails` in user configs, is available if you prefer to revert to automatic full-size image downloads. This change reduces the number of back-and-forth requests and improves efficiency when uploading multiple files. If an upload fails, a toast notification appears, and, for attachment-related errors, an additional message is shown directly on the affected attachment. This change ensures uploads of files do not interfere with saving of the checklist and thus improve performance. Attachments that are not associated with any records and are not pending upload are removed from cache to save memory and processing power.
