Swift allows users to scan barcodes for searching resources and entering values.

#### Additional notes

1. When an `ITF-14` barcode is recognized, it's type can sometimes be set to `interleaved2of5`.
2. Scanning for either `PDF417` and/or `Code39` formats can result in a noticeable increase in battery consumption on iOS.
3. Supported types may change depending on framework version of the Swift (minor version, e.g. version `3.49x.x` vs. `3.50x.x`). This list reflects the supported types in version `3.50x.x` and forward.
4. Swift also supports external, physical barcode scanners. If the code you want to scan is not on the list, you may use an external scanner to scan it instead, and Swift will be able to use it.
