Hey FieldBuddy Planners! We’ve prepared another new release with a mix of new features and bug-fixes. The new 1.147.30 package, which includes improvements to smart planning and important fixes, is expected to start rolling out on **Monday**, **21st** **of July**.

### **Smart Planning Improvements**

This feature is **enterprise only**.

More features come to smart planning!

We’ve added the ability to plan “overnight” stays. Enabling the new option **Continuous Routes **when smart planning multiple days will make smart planning assume the mechanic is staying overnight near the location of the last appointment of the day.

The Smart Planning results table in the bottom section of Dispatch Panel has been reworked as well with a slew of quality of life features:

- Added a button to cancel an ongoing smart planning job
- The smart job selection now supports searching through smart jobs
- Added right-click actions to both Resources and Work Orders
- Various UI improvements

But it’s not just the Smart Planning results table that got new features, the Smart Planning form (opens after using the Optimise action) shows additional information that will make selecting the right options easier:

- Added a summary of each resource’s available time for smart planning and their summary
- Added a summary of the duration of all selected work orders

### Date and time localisation

Most places in the dispatch panel relied on specifically formatted dates and times resulting in inconsistent formatting and unlocalised date information. We’ve improved this and now take the user’s locale and language set in Salesforce into account. (Only dutch and english locale/language supported)

## **🛠 Fixes**

- Fixed an issue that would set the planning section background to grey when shifts were set to start and end at midnight
- Fixed a rare issue where appointments could get corrupted, resulting in the resource field being cleared
- When appointments have a negative duration, they were previously displayed incorrectly and could not be fixed from within the dispatch panel. Now they show up as short appointments with a red border
- Fixed the formatting of special characters in map popups
- Fixed several issues related to switching between the dispatch panel and other browser tabs
- Fixed an occasional issue when viewing a resource without skills
