In order to use Swift, you need to log in / sign in using the credentials provided by your organization.
Here are the steps:
1. Allow FieldBuddy to use `salesforce.com` to Sign In.
2. Provide your username and password in the form.
3. Complete the authentication steps, if there are any.
4. Allow access for listed services.
You will then be redirected to app and be automatically logged in.

## Troubleshooting Problems with Log in / Sign in
Here is a list of problems you might encounter during the log in flow, and how to resolve each of them.
| **The problem** | **Description** | **How to Resolve it** |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `The user you are trying to log in as has no configuration assigned.` | Every user needs a configuration to use Swift. Without it, the app will not be able to work. | Contact your administrator, and have them assign a configuration to your user using the Configuration Editor tool. |
| `The user you are trying to log in as has no license to use Swift.` | Every user needs a license to use Swift. Without it, user may encounter problems with some functionalities in the app. | Contact your administrator, and ensure that the user you are trying to log in as has a valid license. |
| `OAUTH_APPROVAL_ERROR_GENERIC`
 | Caused by the changes introduced by Salesforce in August 2025. Full description:
