Hey FieldBuddy Planners! We’ve prepared a new FAST RING release with a mix of new features and bug-fixes. The new 1.147.25 package is expected to start rolling out on the 24th of March.

# 🗓 Improvements

## Find who is nearby

This feature is **enterprise only**.

<span style="color: #18181b">We’ve added a handy new feature to find out who’s nearby for a specific work order. Just right click on a work order in the table in the bottom section of Dispatch Panel, select Find who’s nearby and a new panel will open.</span>

Choose a specific day or a date range, click search and this new feature will find the closest already scheduled appointments. Clicking on these appointments will highlight them in the planning section and allow you to drag the work order to the panel.

Choosing Now is a little special. Instead of looking through the scheduled appointments, it will instead look at live locations of resources and use those to see who’s currently closest to the work order.

## Edit Work Order from an Appointment hover

Previously, editing an appointment’s work order was only possible by right clicking the appointment. To make things easier, we added a new icon to the toolbar when hovering over an appointment, for opening the work order edit screen.

# 🛠 Fixes

- Fixed the vertical scrollbar for the work order tables not showing up.
- Fixed day view settings not being respected in 1-day zoom mode.
- Fixed an issue where sometimes a warning about absences during smart planning was not showing up or hiding when it should’ve.
- Fixed the “Show in planning” animation not replaying when highlighting the same work order again.
- Fixed an issue where appointment hovers would stop displaying.
