The Resource panel lists all active Resources. Resources that are deactivated are deactivated for all users. By default the resources are ordered alphabetically.

If the Resource has a linked user that user’s profile picture is shown. If the user has no picture or the Resource is not linked to a user, an abbreviation of their name is shown. Each user also has a randomly assigned colour helping to differentiate them from other users in the app.

## Hover menu

Hovering with the pointer will display the following information:

1. Name of the Resource
2. To what Resource Type it is related
3. To what Resource Group it is related
4. The start address of a Resource*
5. The end address of a Resource (if the same as start address, they are merged).*
6. The which User the Resource is related. This is required to be populated if the resource is a user of the mobile application FieldBuddy Swift
7. The email of the related User
8. The phone number of the related User
9. The mobile phone number of the related User
10. The working hours of the resource*

> ℹ️ - *This information is required for Smart Planning module.*

There’s also a button to look up the resource’s address on the map.

## Right click menu

Right clicking the resource will display the following menu:

1. Edit Resource, this will display a pop-up to modify the resource directly from the FieldBuddy Dispatch Panel.
2. Custom configured flows, in this example “Create Contact from Resource”. Read more about custom flows here.
3. Optimize, to launch Smart Planning in order to optimize the planning of this Resource.
4. Start Location, to show the starting location of the resource on the map.
5. End Location, to show the end location of the resource on the map.
6. Skills, to display what skills this resource has and the possibility to modify the skills of the resource directly from the FieldBuddy Dispatch Panel.
7. Open resource, to open up the resource record in the FieldBuddy Service Center.

> ℹ️ If the edition is not FieldBuddy Enterprise, the optimize/start and end-location of a resource are disabled.

> ⚠️ Unchecking the checkbox ‘Active’ will result a resource to be inactive for all users

> ℹ️ Resources can also be added via the Options menu

### Grouping Resources

In the [Display options menu](https://upperdeck.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FBDOCS/pages/6004506631/Menu+Section#Display.1) the grouping can be changed into three options:

1. Resource Type
2. Resource Group
3. None

By default its none. These groups can be opened and closed.
