Main purpose of the bottom section is to show the information about Work Orders or Absences that could be planned. ![bottom-highlight.png](media://3ba6ac95-3dbd-4b8b-9d87-abe2a8b45b30) ## Work Orders tab The Work Orders tab is the primary tab used to display a list of Work Orders. Changing the displayed list of work orders can be done using the **Listing Selector (**[https://upperdeck.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FBDOCS/pages/6066700302](https://upperdeck.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FBDOCS/pages/6066700302)**)**. The toolbar at the top contains more tools than just the listing selector. Other tools are available such as: - A refresh button to reload the work orders list - Button for clearing all filters - Text filter input for searching through all displayed work order fields - A checkbox to use filters also for markers on the map - Summary of the displayed amount of work orders The listings will only display the maximum amount of work orders. This amount is configurable, but limiting it to a maximum of 500 work orders is recommended. ![image-20260219-142334.png](media://b8d1703f-cdb7-4a2f-a49c-50838d29cb98) The table itself contains work orders for the selected listing. All information is displayed in a nicely formatted table. The first column in the table is a little special, it can contain an icon signifying that the work order requires specific skills. ![image-20260219-142620.png](media://abbe75be-bf17-4515-bf6b-34d17a251beb) The main use for this component is for planning new appointments. This can be done by dragging a work order from the table to the [https://upperdeck.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FBDOCS/pages/6004899841](https://upperdeck.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FBDOCS/pages/6004899841) to assign it to a specific resource at a specific time. Clicking a column header will change how the table is sorted and under each column title is also a filter for filtering results based on that column. It is also possible to resize the columns, as well as hide one or multiple. ![image-20260219-142722.png](media://3e93d95b-8624-48e7-8b3e-7d21230e7abe) Settings such as sorting, filters and hiding columns are for you in your browser, and do not impact other planners. Right-clicking on a work order will bring up a context menu with additional actions such as: - Open a work order - Show a work order on map - Edit a work order - Manage skills - [Find who is nearby](https://upperdeck.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FBDOCS/pages/6165561352) ![image-20260219-142756.png](media://3bd41309-6121-4259-90ae-1c31e3a376ae) If there are any custom menu elements configured - they will be shown at the top of the list. ## Global Search tab The global search tab allows you to directly search through all data in the FieldBuddy Service Center without any listing filters being applied. The search field must be entered first before any results are displayed. The work order fields on which it searches are: - WO number (WO-123233) - Installed Product Name - Installed Product Number - Account Name (via Service Request) - Account Name (directly, in case of a Work Order with multiple Installed Products) - Location City - Location Street - Location Postal Code ![image-20260219-142911.png](media://34173f5b-6ed1-4f3f-86f6-8f64c2ac2840) The dropdown in the upper left part of the toolbar can be used to switch to Appointment global search instead. This will search through all made Appointments instead and display those in the table. Once results are displayed, it’s also possible to add filters on individual columns. There are a few limitations for global search filters: - Date fields (Last Modified Date) do not have filters - Address (location) fields are made up of multiple different fields. You can only search for a single individual part of the address at a time (street name, postcode, city, etc.) ## Find who is nearby tab Tab used for the Find who is nearby enterprise feature. You can use it to find out who is close to a work order location at a certain time. They can be dragged into the Planning section in the same way as work orders. > ℹ️ If you are using Smart Planning, be aware that absences will affect how smart planning runs.
