FieldBuddy Dispatch panel is a single-page application with one goal in mind: make planning easier. The interface of dispatch panel can be broken into several sections:

## [FieldBuddy Service Center](https://upperdeck.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FBDOCS/pages/5041750021)

At the top of the FieldBuddy Dispatch Panel is the FieldBuddy Service Center. Here, you can switch between the FieldBuddy Dispatch Panel and other menu-items. The Service Center is not a part of Dispatch Panel itself.

A quick action bar can also be configured at the bottom of the screen. For example a “Quick Create Work Order”.

This panel can be disabled by going full-screen.

The main and biggest section of the Dispatch Panel. This section contains all appointments scheduled for each resource. There are multiple ways to customize the display of appointments or the amount of days visible at once.

You can move appointments around by clicking and dragging them to different spots in the schedule, or by grabbing an appointment’s edge and dragging it to change the start or end time of an appointment.

This section lists all active resources in alphabetical order with their Chatter avatars. The panel can be customized with how resources are ordered or grouped, and what information is displayed in addition to the resource name.

This section, located at the top of the Dispatch Panel, allows you to change the displayed date and filter out appointments or resources. It also boasts a search bar that allows you to quickly find an appointment in the planning section.

This section is also located at the top of the Dispatch Panel, but specifically in the upper-right corner. It contains buttons hiding customisation options, performance and behaviour settings or other lesser used actions, such as opening Dispatch Panel in full-screen mode, or giving feedback. All settings are saved on your device and loaded when opening the app later.

At the bottom of the Dispatch Panel is a table of work orders and absences.

Which fields are listed can be controlled with listings. You can also search through the selected listing or through all work orders.

For enterprise users, it can also contain information about any scheduled, ongoing or finished smart planning jobs.

On the right side of the planning section is the map. It can be opened/closed though the Map menu in the Menu Section.

The map displays currently shown appointments, resources and work orders. This can help visualise how close/far appointments are during planning.

For enterprise users, it can also be used to display predicted routes the resources will take on a given day or display the last known location of resources in the field.
