Our FieldBuddy Swift application has two [rings](https://upperdeck.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FBDOCS/pages/5313134605). It means that FieldBuddy Swift is split up into two applications:

1. Users that are in using the Fast Ring (**Latest**) application receive updates frequently.
2. Users that are in using the Slow Ring (**Stable**) application receive updates once the fast ring is consider stable.

About 5% of our users are in the fast-ring and they can always switch back to the slow ring in case of issues. It is FieldBuddy that decides who is in what ring, you can request a change by creating a [support](https://help.fieldbuddy.com/page/support) case.

Initially all updates are only sent to the fast ring. Once consider stable an ‘equalizer’ release is scheduled. This specific type of release equalizes both applications. Which means, all newly developed features in the fast ring will be available for slow ring users.

FieldBuddy Service Center and Dispatch Panel follow the same pattern, initially a selected group of users/customers receive the updates before its made available for all customers.

Before its been released into Fast or Slow ring, there are internal versions available via Apple Testflight. This version of FieldBuddy Swift contains the mobile app version currently being tested by the FieldBuddy testing team. A selected group of application administrators can gain access. This version is solely for testing purposes and cannot be used for actual work.
