There are two types of storage: file storage & data storage. On these storages there are limits. Its important to make sure you are not exceeding the storage limits.

You can look-up your storage statistics via:

1. As an System Administrator, go to SETUP
2. Search for ‘Storage Usage’
3. At the top of the page there’s a column that displays the amount of storage per type and the percentage used.

> ℹ️ It is important that the Percentage used is below 100% for both categories.

> ⚠️ If the storage is exceeded FieldBuddy is entitled to bill you for the additional storage. Initially you’ll receive an email including a deadline for lowering storage.

Additional storage can be purchased. Contact us for a quote.

### File storage

File storage includes files in attachments, Files home, Chatter files (including user photos) and the Documents tab. For example: Work Order PDF or pictures taken on the Work Order.

### Data storage

The records stored in your objects. Objects are for example: Accounts, Installed Products, Work Orders etc. The sum of all records is the data storage.

## Frequently Asked Questions

**How much does additional storage cost?**  
Please contact us for a quote. And share us the required amount and the category (file or data storage).

**How can I clean-up? **  
Technical objects are cleaned-up for free by the support team. Please create a case. Other entities or cleaning up can be done via your partner.

**How can I see our current storage?**  
Go to setup and search for 'Storage Usage'. At the top of the page there's a column named 'Percent used'. All figures require to be lower then 100%.

**Is there a hard limit?**  
No, as long its not an extreme scenario.

**How is the current storage determined?**  
Based on the amount of licenses.
