In case if Outbound sync does not work as expected and does not produce any sync events, it might be handy to check following steps.

1. It is important to remember that outbound sync is executed asynchronously. So it might take some time to run (few minutes)
2. Is Service Provider authorised and connection still valid? Can be checked on Service Provider page
3. Is the [Trigger ](https://upperdeck.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/createpage.action?spaceKey=fbdocs&title=Configuring%20a%20Salesforce%20Apex%20Trigger%20for%20Outbound%20Data%20sync&linkCreation=true&fromPageId=5520457747)properly deployed and active? Without trigger, there will be no apex jobs (p6) nor audit trails
4. Is Object Mapping Correct?
  1. Is object mapping active (checkbox on mapping)?
  2. Is it “Valid” per FlexConnect validation?
  3. Is the Operation Type correct? For example, if it is Insert, and record is updated - sync will not fire.
  4. Does updated/inserted record comply with filter criteria?
    1. for Inbound Sync, it should be a “external server filtering” style like OData.
    2. for Outbound Sync, it should be a SOQL - style filter criteria
  5. Is there an active trigger on account object?
5. Are there any audit trails? Especially with errors? Sometimes there could be errors when updating external id of the record, and it might be logged as separate audit trail
6. Are there any apex jobs dispatched (Setup → Apex Jobs)?
  1. If not - then most likely trigger is not active, or record does not match the filter criteria on object mapping or mapping is disabled
  2. If yes - and no errors detected - then there should be audit trails
  3. If yes and there are erros - it seems that FlexConnect conflicts with custom implementation changes or another packages. In that case it is important to see what is happening on the record update (so multiple async jobs from update of a record with ext id for example)
