## Can the DPV2 used by multiple users at the same time?

Yes! Settings are stored separately. If multiple users modify the same data at the same time, the last change made takes priority.

## My Dispatch Panel settings are lost every time I launch it

The Dispatch Panel settings are stored in the browser’s local storage. This means that if this storage is cleared, all Dispatch Panel settings are lost.

There can be a couple of reasons for this happening:

- Make sure you’re not using incognito/private mode. In this mode, any settings are cleared when the browser window is closed.
- Using the Guest profile in chrome also stores data only for the current session. When the last browser window is closed, the storage is cleared.
- Your browser might have disabled locally saving data. Make sure to check if using local storage is enabled in your browser by either typing `chrome://settings/content/siteData` into the input at the top of the browser, or by navigating to **Settings -> Privacy and Security -> Site Settings -> Additional Content Settings -> On-device Site Data**. Make sure this setting is set to allowed.
- In some cases, your browser might be managed with a group policy set by your organisation. In this case, please contact your IT administrator and make sure that Salesforce and the Dispatch panel are allowed to store data.

## Dispatch panel opens but shows an empty screen with an error.

There could be multiple reasons for that. One of them – an outdated browser is used. Check if the latest version of Google Chrome is being used (146.0.7680.154 as of 3/19/2026)

You might also see a more specific error that might be mentioned below:

### Error:** **`Something went wrong: Failed to initialize WebGL.`

WebGL is a requirement to use the embedded maps. More about WebGL can be found here - [https://get.webgl.org/](https://get.webgl.org/)

If you run into this error, try enabling hardware acceleration:

1. Open Google Chrome
2. Go into settings
3. On the left side navigate to System and enable “Use graphics acceleration when available“

### Error:** **`getWorkOrderSearch: Attempt to de-reference a null-object(FIELDBUDDY)`

The following error is shown when launching the Dispatch Panel:

1. Delete your browsing data in Google Chrome

2. Try launching the FieldBuddy Dispatch Panel V2
3. If it doesn’t help, execute the following steps
  1. Go to the window in which the error is shown
  2. CTRL SHIFT I will open up the developer-console of Google Chrome
  3. Go to the ‘Application’-tab
  4. Go to ‘IndexedDB’ and open up the ‘DispatchPanel’-table
  5. Click ‘Delete database’
4. Try launching the FieldBuddy Dispatch Panel

### Error:** **`getAllResources: Attempt to de-reference a null-object(FIELDBUDDY)`

The following error is shown when launching the Dispatch Panel:

The cause of the error is that the FieldBuddy Dispatch Panel is not getting any Resources from the FieldBuddy Service Center. This is highly likely due to bad configuration.

1. Please ensure that the user has access to the FieldBuddy Resource object
  1. Check for possible object or field permissions
  2. Check for sharing rules, e.g. the object is set to private
2. If you use partial-copy sandbox - make sure that all the resources has linked Locations, Resource Types and Resource Groups (and those are not Unknown records)
