During Smart Planning, there could be a scenarios when one or multiple events will be marked as failed. There will also be an example with a reason

Below is the list with possible reasons and short explanations

# Scheduled period date range is out of the planning dates

When Work Order has a scheduled period dates (Scheduled Period Start and End dates) outside of the planning dates, it will not be planned as part of optimisation

# Duration too long

When the event can’t fit in any of resources on existing days that are ***eligible*** for it due to the fact that its duration is too long. That also mean if there are no resources with appropriate skills as on Work Order, given error will be returned as well.

# Task is out of time boundary

If the event is set to be scheduled outside of smart planning interval

# Job is too far

When none of the **eligible **(with all skills)** **resources can reach the location of the event from their starting locations in less than the max_travel_time specified in settings (3 hours by default) from starting time of the day (0800 by default)

# No eligible employees for task

When there are no resources with the assigned skills which task has

# No capacity left

Because of the algorithm’s optimal output it wasn’t possible to also fit that task. Usually occurs in case if all the time interval is completely planned or there are no time left for the resource that could perform the tasks (with necessary skills for example).

In case that you get this error and you visually see availability. Check the following items first:

1. Does the work order/appointment require any skills that the resource does not have.
2. Does the work order/appointment have certain timeframes in which it should take place.
3. Check if the resource can travel to the appointment, execute the appointment and travel back to his end-location (if its the end of the day) or the next work order. If there’s not enough time, the work order/appointment will not be scheduled.
