> ℹ️ Work Order Item Details will be abbreviated to WOID.

> Macro (gliffy)

Example (checklist)

- Work Order Line Item: A checklist that can be completed in FieldBuddy Mobile.
- Work Order Line Item Detail: A question on that checklist in FieldBuddy Mobile.
- Work Order Item: Template for a checklist in FieldBuddy ‘backend’.
- Work Order Item Detail: A question on a template checklist in FieldBuddy ‘backend’.

WOI — Work Order Item → Template
WOLI — Work Order Line Item — actual item (has references to WOI — template, and Work Order)

# Creating a Work Order Item Detail

1. From a [Work Order Item](#) of display type ‘**checklist’** navigate to **“Work Order Item Details (x)”** and click ‘**new’**.
2. Give the WOID a descriptive name.
3. Here, you can define the order of the individual WOID on a checklist in FieldBuddy Mobile.1
4. Automatically populated because we made a direct connection with the Word Order Item.
5. To determine on what page the line will be visible on.2

6. If applicable, you can give a default value for this field.
7. Choose the field type.

8. Check this checkbox to make a field required in order to save the checklist in FieldBuddy Mobile.
9. If you choose as** “Field type = Picklist”**, then you can add here the values that can be chosen in FieldBuddy Mobile.

10. Add a help text to describe what the purpose is of the field.
11. Here you can cancel the creation of the WOID, Save the WOID and Save the WOID and immediately create a new WOID.

> ℹ️ Considerations when creating a WOID:
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ - Stay away from using consecutive numbers (1,2,3,4,5), because if you decide that you miss a field you have to reorder all fields, which can be quite time-consuming depending on the number of fields
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ As a rule of thumb we advise:
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ - To include the page number the field will be displayed for instance 1
> ℹ️ - Between fields ‘skip’ 5 numbers between each consecutive field for instance Field 1 = 5 Field 2 = 10 Field 3 = 15 etc.
> ℹ️ - If you follow this advice this will result in: Field 1 on Page 1 = 105, field 2 on Page 1 = 110 etc.
